YGen

YGen was created in 2003 by AfterBurner(1) and run by Solean. This was XGen's original spin off. The main purpose of creating YGen was to escape the rule of Skye and everyone else on the moderation team. This was a place where members of XGen could govern themselves and be the judge of the content in their posts, rather than having to follow the rules of XGen. There was no specific problem with the regular forums, members were just bored and in search of entertainment. Creating YGen was a good way to temporarily dwindle spare time away. During the time of YGen, the majority of members still frequently visited XGen, while still patronizing their offsite. While it was around for less than a year, it made an impact on the members who were included in it. There have been a slight few YGen's made over the years, but none will ever replace the original one. Those who were apart of the first one have the memories, and YGen will never be forgotten.
