The Elites Club v3.0

Created on Oct 15, 2009 as a prank by the members of The Elites Club, a 'fake' Elites forum was created and filled with fake Elites threads (including a thread indicating that old threads were automatically purged to explain the severe lack of them). After a sufficient number of these 'fake' threads were created, the forum was set to be viewable by the Proles, but they could not post in it. This was claimed to be accidental; as Justin was leaving for a conference on that day, it could not be rectified for at least six days.

After the prank had run it's course, the forum was removed; although the attempt of making it seem like the whole thing was a mistake, continued on for quite a while. A slight amount of users still don't realize that The Elites Club v3.0 was anything but real.
