Debate Club

The Debate Club was created in late September of 2005, by Danielle. The point of this group was obvious, it was to hold debates with people who had the passion to back up themselves and their opinions; where the more serious threads couldn't be filled with spam by mere passing-by members. The Debate Club had its moments where heated discussions were at play, and it was decently active from time to time. Over the months debate topics grew slim, and new members to the club were only creating previously held disputes that none of the original members could find interest in again. Although there should always be something to talk about and/or discuss, the club found inactivity inevitable. After less than three years of being existent, there was talk of closure. The Scholar's Club was taking over most debate threads, as that's where they were being posted, and upon further discussion the Debate Club was closed and archived. Currently, Irrelevance is the widely used place among the forums to hold debates and have serious discussions not pertaining to the site, as there are no longer any clubs specifically designed for "debate".
