Coding Group

The Coding Group was created at the beginning of June, 2006, by Vagrant. It started off slowly. The participating amount of members caused for inadequacy and that was initially the downfall of the Coding Group. While there were, at times, helpful discussions and useful information located in the group, it was inconsistently active from the time it was started. About a year into being made, a thread by Jonanin was brought up for the sole purpose of deciding whether or not there should be a leader of the group, and who this leader would be if it was decided that there should be one. The debate got a bit heated, but in the end it was all for nothing. In addition to the group being inactive, its demise could easily be attributed to the fact that there was already a forum, similar to the purpose of the group, which nearly defeated the point of a private place for discussion of coding; said forum being the Flash and Coding Forum, created late in 2003. After less than two years upon being made, the Coding Group was closed and archived among the other groups that didn't last.
