How to upload or download files from Sally:

1) Install an SCP client

a. For Windows, Winscp (www.winscp.com) is a good freeware option. Go to their website, click the ‘download’ button at the top, and select the newest version that does not say ‘Beta’ (currently 4.0.7). Click ‘Installation Package’ to download. Install as per usual. Select ‘Norton Commander’ style when prompted.

2) Run your SCP client. Enter ‘www.chejrw.com’ as the server and 22 for the port

a. Enter the username and password provided and click ‘logon’

3) After authenticating (may take 30s or so, ignore any messages that pop up), a window like this appears.

a. Local files (on your computer) are on the left. Remote files (on Sally) are on the right. Simply drag and drop to copy either way. You can select multiple files to copy at once (shift-click or click&drag). You can also drag and drop files to/from anywhere on your computer into/out of the winSCP window.
